What we believe

We believe that the Bible (the Holy Scriptures)is the Word of God. It is the creation of God (2Timothy 3:16; 2Peter 1:20-21). It is the objective truth of God and consequently inerrant and infallible. It is the supreme and final authority in faith and life.

We believe in the one true and living God who eternally exists in three Persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are equal in power and essence deserving worship and obedience.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity. He is God-incarnate to reveal God and redeem man (John 1:1, 14)

We believe that salvation from sin and death (eternal punishment in hell) is only received as a gift through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1Peter 1:18-19). Salvation is the effect of regeneration by the Spirit and the Word, not by works but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5).

We believe in the total depravity of man through the Fall. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

We believe in the church (the body of Christ) which is comprised of baptized believers assembling together for corporate worship of God, service, and fellowship (Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:25)
